Default solenoid clicks clicks clicks

i have a club car dont know the year model had it all upgraded last year new batts new wires new high performance motor i know the controller is a all trax? i believe just bought a new eagle performance charger that works great cart will fly heres the problem.today at my pond i was driving around got to close to the edge and it slid into the mud on driver side so i flipped the forward/reverse switch making the cart rock back and forth done this for about 15 minutes wouldnt come out so i drug it out with my 4 wheeler afterwards the cart would click and wouldnt go let it sit a while tried again it took off went about 100 yards and died now when i try it it will go then stop gotta click click click the solenoid then it will catch and go any ideas on what i tore up carts not here i left it at my farm thanks for any help im new to this forum site stuff

Welcome to BGW. It would help alot if you could provide the yr of the cart and the type of drive system; series or shunt? Regen I or II ?

swap out the soleniod and see if that cures you.............................

i dont have the cart here its 2 hours away at my farm reading some of the other posts on here im thinking i either burned up the solenoid or the motor brushes or the motor i could smell that distinctive odor of hot wires be a couple weeks before i get back to it
