Clean ALL battery and wire connections, check fluid level the, charge the crap out of the batteries. They are deep cycle and take a lot of charging, at least try then you'll be certan that you have 6 volt doorstops.

Hello Chas.
I had a problem like that, I had to replace all 6 batteries. And boy was that expensive! However this guy turned me onto this tester you can buy for about $15.00. It will allow you to test each battery for its strenght. Buy it and keep it on hand, its worth the money. As described by another member, clean your battery post and wires (clean them real good), After cleaning them re-attatch them using vaseline all over the post and nuts. This will keep them from corroding and give you peace of mind. One more thing. Does your cart have the mounted charger? If so check and or replace your fuses. Hope this helps. Post a pic of your cart. I have a Executive V and have had a hard time with any info. I'll be gald to help if I can.

Here is an update and sorry for not responding like I should. I sold the cart! I thought this thing was seriously ugly it was bright yellow (probably a repaint), all diamond plate steel body(weighed almost as much as my ranger) it had a single bench seat that folded back so that you could accomidate 2 rear facing passengers and the back of the cart actually folded up to make a utility bed with a fixed tailgate which I think is pretty **** sweet. I didn't find out about those features untill after the guy that I sold it to (my neighbor) showed me when he swapped out the batteries for 3 deep cycle 12volt boat batteries. Now he makes a point to drive the cart to my house once a week just to rub it in LOL. I did manage to get ahold of another cushman but it was a 74 Golfster 36 volt with new batteries but is has been sold as well. Now I am in the market for a little bit newer cart with a 4 stroke gas motor, but I am also broke so I will have to wait for money or the right deal to come along. Sorry to be a traitor to the electric crowd, but I know gas engines and noise is not an issue since I mostly use the carts for the race tracks.
