Alltrax SPM "low throttle" error code

Cart: '97 TXT series w/ITS throttle
Controller: Alltrax SPM 72400 (72v controller running 48v for now)

Problem: press go pedal halfway, no cart movement for 5 seconds

Observations:
1) With Alltrax software I see the following error codes when the problem happens.

• a) shutdown
• b) low throttle

2) occasionally it will take off perfectly with no error codes

Any help would be greatly appreciated as Alltrax is unavailable till after holiday.
