Default Can I put 2 trickle chargers on at once

Have a 48Volt CC Precedent (4- 12 Volt Batteries).
Have had one trickle charger on each battery. Takes
about 24 hours for charger to turn off (assume battery
is charged). But by the time I get to the 4th battery,
#1 battery will accept a trickle charge again. I finally got the
battery warning light to come on and the headlights will
turn on brightly...so I am close. Can I put a second trickle
charger on battery #1 while I have a trickle charger on battery
#4? Thanks guys...electricity is just black magic to me.

Thanks CTD! I did what you said. Disconnected battery #4 and charged
that with the charger seperately while #1,2,&3 were on another charger.
Finally got the batteries up high enough so the Powerdrive II charger
will come on. Started charging around 7 amps but has risen already
after about 15 minutes.
QUESTION.....since she let these batteries drain to dead I understand that
they may never hold a charge. BUT my real question is since they were
drained and no headlights or accessories would come on.....
Will the anything have to be reset once these are charged? Have read thread
instructing folks to RESET the On Board Computer. Will that be the next step? Anything else?
THANKS....you guys are great!

it would not hurt to reset the OBC ... make sure battery water is at a good level .. pray to battery gods that they will work ... it may take a few charges to find out

I have had 4 chargers hooked up at once. I did flip to tow obviously and just to be safe disconnected one cable in the series.

You can connect 4 - 12v trickle chargers on at a time if you want to. The batteries do not have to be disconnected. I would flip the run tow switch to tow first to play it safe. Just as long as you only connect between the positive and negative of each individual battery.

I know I am stupid, but assuming you have dead bats, wouldn't that reset the OBC on its own?

probably not completely dead

there must be a memory .. why else have • Lock the throttle pedal down

To reset the OBC the following must be done in this
order:
If no Tow/Run Switch then skip that step

• Key Switch to Off
• Forward/Reverse to Neutral
• Tow/Run Switch to Tow
• Disconnect the Battery NEGATIVE (–) wire
from the Battery Minus terminal on the battery
pack.
• Put the Tow/Run to Run
• Forward/Reverse Switch to Reverse
• Key Switch to On
• Lock the throttle pedal down
The reverse buzzer will sound and go off in about 30
seconds. Leave the cart like that for 5 min to cause the
OBC to reset.

I get NO reverse warning buzzer when I put it in reverse.
The charger charges then turns off now. When headlights
are turned on they are bright. Battery warning light comes on and off intermetiantly. No go in F or R.
Tryed the OBC reset...when you remove the negative wire from the battery
are we talking about the 4th battery in the chain or the 1st battery?
I removed the wire from the 4th. Would seem to me that I would not get
a reverse buzzer with that removed.
Other ideas to get this girl to run??
