Is this an IQ or Series cart?

How are they failing, the micro-switch or the throttle resistance?

I'm pretty sure that it's an iq! I'm not sure, I know that the cart gets real jerky when the pedal is not fully depressed and sometimes seems to have to be fully depressed to make it move. When I installed the new one, it was fine until the last few days!

I wonder if anyone has brought this to Club Cars attention. Is there a website where you can complain to Club Car.

Not that I'm aware of. You could probably call them but they'd transfer you to 15 different departments and you'd end up with an answering machine.

Yes. It's the MCOR4. Since I went out on my own and became self-employeed, I've never sold the MCOR3. You're right, it was garbage. MCOR4 problems are rare, but not unheard of.

Dear Club Car,
Pull your collective heads out of your butts and replace the failed MCOR throttle device. Use a true potentiometer mounted above the waterline. Or a simple inductive throttle system like Yamaha and Ezgo. Neither of those companies have the trouble you have been having for the last, oh I dunno, 15 years!? Wake up your design engineer and tell him to pack up his desk and go home!
