Wow. Nice guy. Not sure if sarcasm or trying to be funny. Whatever.

Thanks for the welcome.

As frmthe reducer, when your light kit is installed or was installed, it will have a positive (blue wire) and a negative black wire which is the electrical input for the kit. In some Carts they wore these directly to the batteries. This is not the correct way to wire the power input into the light kit.
A reducer will be fed from the entire pack of batteries, then reduced, then the positive and negative output from the reducer will be used as the feed for the light kit. Hope that helps.
The lights that are on it don't work presently. Not sure what the cause is, i'm going to remove everything and put new stuff in that came in the ultimate LED kit.

I bought a 48v - 12v reducer to install in conjunction with the lights.

The factory lights are wired directly to the batteries with no reducer? Why would Club Car do that? Guess I will see if there is one anywhere when I start removing light parts.

Thanks for the info Mooncarter.

I've been looking all over Ebay for vinyl wraps for the Precedent. I'm only seeing wild stripes, flames and stuff I would never put on any cart. And each of them are $200+ or so it seems.

I want a solid color wrap. Either that or I get new body parts as suggested or plan C, take the panels to a paint shop for repainting. That wouldn't be cheap either.

Relax you got a good deal. Just thought I would point out a few little details for you that first time buyers don't know.

By pointing out ' it don't even have any fancy aluminum rims.' ?

It does have aluminum wheels, upgraded ones in fact only offered on the Champions Edition friend.

I've had this cart approximately 2 weeks now, give me some time to upgrade it with 'fancier aluminum rims'.

Battery hold down brackets on order.

New body parts (OEM dark green) purchased from Ebay on the way too.

New ultimate LED light kit will be installed soon.

Then onto the magnet and motor and 'fancy aluminum rims'.

Lift kit? Jury's still out on that.

Plenty to keep me busy for a long while.

I have that same unit on the underside of my roof. I use it for insurance card, garage door opener, registration info etc.
