Can't Remove Brake Drums
Working on a Precedent that went thru the hurricane. Water came up just high enough to cover axle. 8 months later they want it fixed.
The brakes were locked up, I got the wheels to barely move. After rocking back and forth the wheels have loosened some. Trying to remove brake drums but they will not come off. Any suggestions on brake drum removal? |

Spray inside with lots of PB Blaster best you can. Soak. Tap with hammer.
How rusty are the studs? Clean them too. Also, I don't know if you have the space for it, but hook it to something and tow it around for a bit to help loosen things. |

Got it. There's nothing a Ford wrench, uh I mean a hammer can't fix.
Got a brass punch on lip of drum and beat it off. 1 down and 1 to go. |
