Yes, my '07 I have painted, and numerous '90's models. I knows some of the older models were plastic fronts and fiberglass backs, but I always use a vinyl/flexible filler so it can take the structural perils of carting... Like I said, those are very easily sanded out and if filler is needed, use a high quality flexible type. (NEVER use Bondo are similar as they will crack over time)

What brand of vinyl/flexible filler do you recommend?
