I had the same needs as I use my cart as a people mover around different campgrounds as we travel. I also have a 6in lift and 23in tires. I chose the XCT400, 4ga welding cables and heavy duty solenoid. Immediately I noticed the increase in torque and my top speed increased to 27+ mph. I also installed a new set of Trojan batteries.

We recently visited a campground near the mountains with an abandoned golf course at the back of the property. We had 4 passengers with a total weight of 850lbs +/- and I could climb hills steep enough to raise the front tires slightly off the ground. It's so much fun to drive now.

I'm planning to upgrade the motor next winter with a goal of 35mph +/-.

Are you sure you want to do that? Mine does 30 to 32 and it's a bit too much for the road, not to mention off road...

Yes, I know that I'll need to address the stopping power if I continue. I've had the speed bug all my life with cars and boats, so naturally it continues with this hobby.

I have 11" wide tires now and at ~25 I cannot safely stop it at full speed. The cart outruns the breaks as it will skid. So just remember that as I know I will need 4 wheel braking to go any further and not jeopardize safety.
