Differences '06 and '12 Precedent ?

I have been offered a '06 Precedent for cheap. Just wondering what the main differences in the designs are between the '06 and the '12 that I presently have. Do the motors interchange, controllers much different, weakness in the old design? Please enlighten me...

This isn't a definitive answer but most noticeable were some minor changes mid year 2008 including dash area, wiring harness but biggest change was in batteries and controller location. For the most part, parts typically are applicable to all years up to or after 2008.5 but some items will fit all years.
