2014 XRT Stops When Accelerator Pedal Pushed down past 60%

Hello,
I have a 2014 club car XRT850 that i've been having issues with. When i press the accelerator down at 50% or less, the cart moves forward at a moderate pace, 6 or 7 mph probably (48V batteries are fully charged). When i press the accelerator pedal down more than 50 to 55%, the cart makes a herky jerky motion and immediately stops moving. When i release the pedal all the way, and push it down less again than 50% it moves forward again. Anything over 50 to 55%, immediately causes the cart to jerk and forward motion to stop. When i put the cart in reverse, i can press the pedal down fully (100%) and it moves fine and doesn't cut off. I'd appreciate if anyone could point me in the right direction of diagnosing the issue.

You said the batteries are full charged. What voltage did they charge up to?
