can you upgrade motor on a club car with resistors and vglide

It's not recommended. The resistor coils on that cart are specifically designed for the motor on the cart. If you install a higher performance motor it's going to draw more current and cause a meltdown of the V-Glide, Solenoid, or possibly even start a fire with the resistor coils.
