Is that AMD map the same for the GE motor? I was under the impression that the Precedent came with either motor.

The GE motor was only available in the early Precedent models, 2005 and below, after that was the EJ4 and EJ8 which have the same electrical characteristics (small differences in stud size and mounting holes).

Thanks for the help everyone. I have upgraded to the newer EJ4-4001-V9 supplied by Alltrax. I also have the max RPMs set at 5000 with the throttle limited to 75% with 400 amps at armature. I'm now close to 21MPH.

Mathematically, you should be getting 28 at that RPM if your batteries are strong enough. 23" tires, right?

Yes, 23" tires. I have three newer batteries and 3 older batteries. Those are on the list to be replaced next. My best battery is usually at 8.75 after charging. My older batteries are usually at 8.28 to 8.35

I agree You should be getting faster speed on a level road.

Do you have a digital voltmeter You can use to check the pack voltage during that top speed run?

You can also look at the Alltrax log for the battery voltage and make sure the motor current is the same as the battery current during that time.

I am not sure what that 75% number you gave means, is it the "Throttle rate"?

Does your reverse beeper work?
