The 10ga black wire with yellow bullet connector comes from Controller B- and it is used when You add a 48v->12v reducer.

You should have a single cable on the pack negative battery post (no extra wires or cables).

The 12ga red wire from the charger receptacle should be connected to the pack positive battery post.

Just curious, what are the date stamps on the new batteries?

I have those two cables correctly installed. Single black cable on the negative pack post, and I believe there are two cables on the positive pack post.

If I remember right the stickers on the batteries say G7, if those are the manufacture date. 7th week of 2017?

I'll check it out and take some pictures tomorrow evening.

Thanks for all your help guys. The extreme charging amperage and charger buzzing has subsided. I guess the new batteries just needed broken in Thank you for helping me diagnose a non-existent problem!

On another note, my golf partner and I made it to our golf league playoff championship tomorrow. I told the owner of the course if I made it to the championship, I'm bringing my own cart. I'm sure he'll be pleased with me when I show up in this...
