Towing Cart behind camper
Looking for suggestions on towing my cart (2012 CC President) on a 12X7 Utility trailer behind my 18' Palomino camper. I just purchased a Kurt camper bumper receiver and it says do not tow anything over 250# tongue weight. I don't think I will be close to that with the cart.
I am thinking about adding a sway bar to the Cart trailer like the one on my Camper/tow vehicle. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated. |

Re: Towing Cart behind camper
Yea carts are fairly heavy, keeping it toward the rear of the trailer will keep the weight off the tongue, which might cause a little sway so I myself would go with the sway bar.. it definitely can't hurt..

Interesting! I didn't realize my cart was that heavy. I have a Goldwing Trike and I can feel a little weight behind me when towing it. The cart doesn't even feel like it's anything there.

batteries alone are 400/500 lbs.. and the older you get the heavier they feel.. I use to hate hauling them up and down the basement come winter..

Is this a trailer or RV? My understanding is it is NOT recommended to attach another trailer to a trailer.

Re: Towing Cart behind camper
Oh sh** I assumed it was an RV I don't think I would be pulling two trailers down the road, I can picture that thing all over the place.. but apparently a lot of people do this, it also seems to be illegal in a lot of states.. good luck on your trailer pulling

Well, is this thing a trailer or a motorhome? Aren't they all RV's?

Re: Towing Cart behind camper
I would not tow a second trailer behind a trailer or 5th wheel. No way. I know people have done it.
