Default New here need help Urgent

Ok guys I'm new here but I've been doing some lurking the past week or so. I'm jordan from Michigan. I bought an ole 86 last week and am trying to plan my build. In the meantime I come across a newer solid state club car not sure on the voltage but it has a double control arm lift kit and all electronics. No batteries. But for 200$ I don't think I can go wrong. My question is how do I check the controller and main components. I'm on an hour drive to go purchase it now. Thanks ahead of time!

Where is it? I'll go get it. Seriously.

It's likely 48v the batteries can be replaced with 4 12v, but the speculation is that ride time is reduced. Although I have done that in a 36v EZGO

If it comes with a charger that should confirm voltage.

without batteries it will be impracticle to think you can check out the controller and motor, however at 200 bucks with a double a arm lift even if you had to replace them and new batts your still looking like you will have a cart that is worth what you got into it. Provided of course that the frame and body aren't all beat to hell.

Thanks everyone. It's in rough shape for sure but I got it to put the drive system in my 86. It is a 01 I believe and it is a 48v system, not sure which one it is but I will find out and I will post some pics soon of both carts. Came with a nice power drive charger but the lift kit is not what I thought from the pics. It's a janky homemade deal

Here are some pics of the 86. Basically my plan is to make a decent cart out of both. And I won't have a fortune into it because I only paid 200 for each cart. Hopefully all I'll need are some batteries to get it going. Finishing up dinner now and I'm gonna go unload the 01 and take some pics. Check y'all later or tomorrow 🤙🏼

Ok guys the new cart is really rough but I figured it was worth the 200 to be able to swap the drive into my other cart and make it a 48v. What do you all think? Which system is this? Is it any good? Thanks again!

Do you have a photo of the body of the 01?

Cool Re: New here need help Urgent

Here is the body. They hacked the whole frame at the front suspension then made a drop bracket out of steel angle and bolted it back together to lift it. lol I'll be keeping the seats rear axle and motor, all electronics, front suspension and the rest is going to scrap. I'll post some more pics tomorrow. I've already got it most of the way apart.
