Default Latest project

Came across an 2003 IQ DS for $500. The batteries were dead, but looked very good. Even the lead plates looked new. Charged them up, but still no go. Turned out to be the controller, but I had an IQ controller on the shelf from a previous upgrade. Installed it and it was alive! The front end had been wrecked, so a new Doubletake Spartan body, seats, and long top was the next thing on the list along with some Steeleng rims and tires. The batteries seem to be holding up good. Ended up with about $2100 in the whole cart. Already have it sold! Wish I could find a truck load just like it!

I get them straight from Doubletake. I'm a dealer with them.

What a great looking, straight-forward cart. Love the color.

Did you paint the rear to match or is it new? Nice job.

I spray painted the existing rear seat to save a few bucks, but the custom cushions fit it like a glove.

Looks sharp! Really like the Doubletake Spartan body.
I am going to try painting mine first and if I screw it up I will get one.
