I am going to try painting mine first and if I screw it up I will get one.
I like the bodies over painting because I started this project about lunch on a Saturday and almost finished it up by 5 that evening. Did the final touches Sunday evening.

mgray70,
I am just starting the install on my Spartan body. I received no instructions, and there are none on the DoubleTake Web Site.

Can you post a photo of how you installed that from body bracket, and how does it help hold the body more rigid.

Thank you,
Aflyer

I can't find the instructions, it basically extends the front bumper a little to support the front cowl. The bumper will bolt right back to the extension piece.I'll look when I get home to see if I can find anything else.

mgray70,
Thank you, I appreciate anything you can find, there is nothing on their website that I could find.

I just talked to David, Revolution Golf Cars, and looks like mine will be a challenge, because I put a Z-Bar lift in it.

Doing a customers DS with same color doubletake body, is it that much of a hassle was it to install?

I found a copy of about everything, but the Spartan body install. Like I said that piece has 2 holes on each side. It bolts where the bumper was originally and then the bumper bolts on the other side holes. There is a little piece that sticks out to support the center of the cowl. I would send you a pic, but I sold the cart. I'm not familiar with the z lift, so I can't help you much there, sorry.

I don't think so, but I've done several.

dannyre,
I wouldn't say it was a hassle, but the lack of any instructions leaves you wondering what the value is if the bumper extender brace/bracket.

I was told it just sits there and prevents the body from being pushed in.

I was looking for something that would provide a more rigid installation. I will probably fabricate something to do that.

I'll agree that sometimes they lack instructions, and once in a while you'll be missing some bolts and things, but overall I like their products. I've looked all over their website, and all the instructions I have saved, and can't find the Spartan anywhere, but other than that piece and the little 1" lift bar that goes under the front springs, it is a fairly simple swap. You will have to cut out the charge receptacle with a Roto zip type tool. You can trace your old receptacle plug hole on a sheet of paper and transfer it over is how I did it. The rest just bolts up like the old body.
