Default How to tighten loose roof support?

Recently purchased a 2013 Precedent. The bolt securing the roof support on the front passenger side will not tighten up like the drivers side. There doesn't appear to be a nut on either side. It seems like it is stripped, because it will just keep turning and turning? How can I get this tight so it doesn't rattle when I hit a bump?

There are 2 bolts on each side underneath the plastic trim cover, is that what you are tightening?

Actually, no I was just tightening the bolt outside of the cover. I will pop the trim off.

ok, same problem after tightening the 2 bolts under the trim. They never tighten up like the drivers side does. Can't think of anything else to do other than get longer bolts and use nuts on the inside.

Are you using the right bolts? Take one from the driver's side and try it.

Did you compare the bolts that are working on the driver's side to the bolts on the side that will not tighten?
