Of course if my t-875's were not a month old! It was just an after thought. Never thought about lithium in the cart tho. I'm very familiar with the technology. Any where I can go to research lithium packs in carts?

Right here.

Try http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...xperience.html

or

and others.

Do a search for "lithium" in the Electric Club Car forum

Ok, I've bought another cart to put my new batteries in and flip. Gonna go lithium. Any input on when evbatterycenter will be supplying battery's again?

I'm in the process of going lithium as well. Seems like everyone had different opinions on voltage. I'm currently trying to decide if I should use 7 or 8 of the Leaf modules I have. On one hand I'm limited by the XCT48500 voltage limit of 62 (manual says 60v, but Alltrax rep said 62v is the true max). So I don't know if 58.8v with a 14s pack charged 100% would yield better results than the 16s setup charged to 97-98% to 62v. This is my next question before I try to source a BMS and charger setup. I'm also going to see if my 48v 400a solenoid can handle the added voltage, fingers crossed

I need to know this as well! My friend is about to add a battery to his 48 to bring voltage up to 56. I don’t know what the limiting factor is on the solonoid. What I do know is that my dc/dc converter is only good to 60v. I think that and the solonoid are my only limiting factors.

Where did you find your modules?

I forgot about my DC/DC converter. I’ll have to look into that as well. This conversion is requiring much more brain power than I anticipated.

I bought the cells from a local guy that sourced a complete pack out of a 2016 wreck with 5k miles. So basically brand new batteries. Honestly that’s the way to go if you can get a few guys to go in on the deal. You can find them for like $3k.
