Is this what you had in mind Sergio?

Using a latching relay, when the key switch is off there is no power to the relay so it is also off. When the key switch is on then pressing the momentary push button activates the relay and the contacts close. The lower set supplies power to the cart, the upper set supplies power to the coil. So when the momentary switch is released the relay coil remains closed through the upper latching contacts. When the key switch is turned off, the power is removed from the relay coil and the relay drops out.

The key switch has to be turned on before the momentary switch is pressed. When the key is switched off the circuit is automatically "armed".

I prefer to use a less expensive SPST N.O. relay and a diode to latch the coil.

I still use the same version in my cart, I like to be able to turn accessories ON without the chance of the cart running accidentally, I.E neighbor dog's stepping on the accelerator.
