89 36V club car is underpowered... the problems continue
I have a 1989 36volt Club Car w/ resistors. It is under powered to the point that when it is in reverse on grass it just stops. When moving forward on the street is just does not seem to have the power it should, especially when it first begins moving. It has new batteries and a new V-glide. The new V-glide's wiper arm was not hitting the top connection, so that was adjusted but did not seem to help much at all. We were checking the voltage throughout the resistors and to the motor. The voltage started at 37 volts at the first resistor and dropped to about 32 at the last one. We were getting about 32 volts at the motor. To me that seems low, but I don't know enough about this to know for sure. We also had the rear jacked up and when we would press the throttle the driver side rear tire was spinning fine but the passenger side was turning slowly and then would stop all together. Again, I am not sure is this is normal or not. Any help or advise as to what I can look for next would be appreciated. This thing is starting to irritate me. Thanks
