Whine/Squeal from rear end
2008 Club car DS has developed an intermittent whine/squeal over the past two weeks which has gotten worse. Once cart is driven for about 5 minutes noise disappears. Trying to determine if its a bearing, brake, motor, or drive axle issue? Any suggestions?

Have you changed the motor lately? The brushes will make a whine noise until they get seated good.

No I bought the cart used though. It was a fleet cart. The only thing I have replaced is the speed controller.

Shot in the dark here and you probably have already done it but have you checked or changed the rear end oil?
