Beeping cart when charging
Hi guys. Need a little help on my 2008 cc precedent. I have jumped out the obc and my bank is above 41v. But my cart will not run. When I plug my charger in with the run-tow switch to run the cart goes to beeping fast. The motor will run with the charger plugged in. Need HELP!

Re: Beeping cart when charging
The voltage is rising (44v) but the cart still beeps when charging in run mode.

Re: Beeping cart when charging
The beeping indicates that the controller either thinks you are in reverse or the car is moving without throttle input. Turn the tow switch to tow and charge the batteries until they are at least 50v. Full charge is 50.9v and the charger should switch off at +- 63v depending on the condition of the batteries

Re: Beeping cart when charging
Why did you bypass the OBC and what charger are you using?

Re: Beeping cart when charging
Your batteries are likely toast man. You can probably get them to charge above 48 volts but the life of that charge is going to be about 3 blocks of distance.
Replace your batteries unfortunately. And make sure your F/R switch is not broken. And make sure your speed sensor is working. |

Re: Beeping cart when charging
That probably wasn't the charger it was the relay if anything. The voltage may have been to low to close it in.
If your cart moved while plugged in the and the OBC was bypassed, then that is correct. If the OBC was not bypassed and the cart was able to move while charging then your OBC has gone bad. |

Re: Beeping cart when charging
You seem to know what you're doing so you should know that by bypassing the OBC the charger will not turn off automatically, so watch the voltage and turn the charger off manually before it goes past about 63V, preferably before that (if it will get that far).
