Full throttle with governor
Ok I just went through the threads on governor adjustment. I still have my governor on. Now my question I pushed the throttle wide open. I pulled the shaft off the throttle and it was at full throttle. Is this possible or am I missing something.

Re: Full throttle with governor
The governor is not fully defeated just by pushing the screw in. A common method is to drill out the spring, washers, and governor arm so the governor free-spins on the rod from the rear end, but that's a pretty permanent change (to reengage you'd have to replace the parts you drilled).
