Charging/Electrical
Okay been having some charging issue with my 96 club car. Here is what I have done so far removed the yellow wire from the generator grounded the terminal, check voltage at the battery just 12.6v, okay then check the voltage at the large white wire at the generator getting like 40V under acceleration follow that same large white to the solenoid getting that same 40 some voltage at that SIDE of the solenoid, take a reading at the other large post on the battery side of the solenoid 12.6v. what is preventing the higher voltage from passing through the solenoid to the battery, I mean what allows that to happen?? The red wire from the regulator is on the side of the large white wire from the generator. Any idea folks?
