Tired valor?
I've had it since new, Kawasaki gas motor. Only mod was governor adjust from the dealership I purchased from as it's street legal. It will top out around 28 MPH but has been noticeably sluggish off the line. Will still get up there eventually, but no torque. I emailed Vegas carts and they said they done have a swap for my cart. I had planned to do high speed gears and then a clutch to help off the line, but now I wonder if the engine is tired. Was really hoping to do a clone swap.

I'd start by a tune up and new drive belt. Inspect the clutches for wear while you're in there. Tune up and a belt alone can sometimes make all the difference in the world. Worn clutches can make it act like a tired dog too.

Agree with CP241!
How old is the gas your running? Also high speed gears will make it slower off the line. Also a 1'' shorter belt will help with hole shot. It makes the clutch engage at a lower gear ratio. |

I did the plug probably about 9 months ago. I always run rec 90 fuel and drive it enough so I don't think that's it. I think I'll change the plug and belt and see what happens. |
