Newbie looking for first cart
Ok, here we go first post. I want to start a hunting cart build. This will be my first cart. I have read a lot of posts on here and there is a ton of good info. I am looking for a ez go series cart hopefully no older then 1998 or so newer would be fine but as long as it is the same body style. I almost bought one that had no batteries in it for $400 but was not fast enough. Any suggestions as to where to look around the St Louis area? I am not opposed to traveling a few hundred miles to get one either. But then the surprise factor comes into play. I sort of don't care what shape it is in because I want to gut it and replace almost everything. Is this a really bad idea? I kind of want to start fresh because then you know exactly what you have. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If the frame rails are good the rest can be rebuilt.

Looking at your local Craigs list will give you an idea of prices in your area.
Condition of the car tyou buy depends on your skills & tools. Ross |

Re: Newbie looking for first cart
I would say make a list of you want for the cart and also what you truly want it to do so you don't keep changing things as you go. This will save you money in the long run also maybe the sight sponsors can lead you in the right direction and maybe offer package deals on motor controller solenoid wires and so on if you are gonna start ground up. Good luck and have fun
