LED headlight install in club car
i haven't posted anything in awhile but i just wanted share an old club car clone build i've been working on. i just found a led that fits perfect in the regular light housing. even though looks aren't on top priority since it's been kind of a budget build i wanted something that was just as bright if not brighter then stock lights. but i didn't want the front of my cart looking like a baseball staduim. i brought one home last week from work and it was installed in about 15 mins. i ended up putting the other side in after i took the pics but they are working out great so far. i'll try to post some night pics when i get a chance.

Re: LED headlight install in club car
i bought them at work. they aren't top of the line by all means but they are maxima brand mwl-05 is the part # if i remember right. they are 600 lumen...short answer yes they are as bright and don't pull near the juice. they are a little more of a spot light then a flood. i have a set of grote trilliant lights i got from work for my yamaha that i need to get put on. they are 1600 lumen flood lights but they are over $100 each. as soon as i slow down with other things i'll get them on and post some pics.

Re: LED headlight install in club car
i charged myself $75 each .....yes harbor junk winch i had laying around. no maxima lights at harbor. they aren't as nice as grote trilliants but $75 for 600 lumen and a 5 year warr that i can do myself i thought that was fair enough.

Re: LED headlight install in club car
they have some cheaper 400 lumen that we use for salt spreader trucks but they have a smaller housing and would work. i think they are around $50 or $55
