Model and Serial Number location Gas Yamaha

I am trying to resurrect a gas Yamaha golf cart. The body was modified and painted years ago. It appears the frame, engine, etc (superstructure) are not modified. Where do I find the model and serial number? There will be more questions to follow.

OK, the plate is stamped JG5-310873

I am next hunting for a wiring diagram. I see a lot of references to G# as the model number (e.g. G1). Should I assume that mine is a G5 and search for a G5 wiring schematic?

Well I can't thank y'all enough. Armed with the model number I can do some real searching. That said, I suspect I will be in really good shape with the provided wiring diagram. Have a great summer. Thank you again for all you assistance
