Hi all, New to forum, Just picked up a 21 EZ-Go RXV. Looking to make it street legal (required where I am). It has everything required but windshield and license plate mount and light. I already have a place that will do that.
I want it to hit 35 or close to 35mph for a brief stretch of road before I am back in my parents community in the 25 zones. From what I read, the stock controller reprogrammed is the best option. Any other advice? I am all for sending it out for reprogramming... Thanks in advance........

With 20.5" tires that cart top speed is 24-25mph. Do to having a 7.0+ revision level controller. Controllers with 6.0 and lower revision can get you 30mph.

Thank you for the reply. Can I purchase an older revision controller and have it reprogrammed? Or buy one already finished.

If you’re gonna replace the controller why not just step up to a Navitas controller.

I picked up a 2017 RVX last summer. I've done a few cosmetic updates but that is about it. Currently the cart is in northern MN and I winter in sw Florida. I'm debating on going with 12 or 14 inch wheels and tires. Tires will be no more than the max without doing a lift. I'm not going to rear seat. What upgrades do I need. Controller, cables? Right now I'm just getting everything ready so when I get back up north. Summers are short

So that you know your looking at 24mph or so. You can't speed up the newer controller like you can the old ones.

Send me a pm and I will see what we can do.

If i have a 2015 rxv with curtis controller and 14" wheels what speeds could i expect from a reprogramed controller? The cart does roughly 23 right now and i would like to be up around 30.
