Default steering wheel adapter

I have a icon (edison) 4 seater 2020. I am looking to find out what steering wheel adapter I need to put a custom steering wheel on my cart. I have tried Yamada Drive and it did not work.

Was stock steering wheel out of alignment by chance? Just curious.

Does anyone know that answer to this? My steering wheel is so lame!

I've tried these adapters from amazon but none fit.
EZGO TXT and RXV EType adapter
Club Car Precedent (CP Type adapter
club car DS
Yamaha

Yamaha is too small the rest are too big, one had no splines

Only thing I came up with is using another steering wheel that has the same six allen pattern

Maybe just build your own if you can’t find an off the shelf unit?

I bought this adapter for my 2022 aev and it fits:

https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Steer...=2ZV2XSRXJJLW1

I have no idea why adapters for our icons/aev cost $80 when adapters for every other cart cost ~$25. I'm still waiting for my steering wheel to show up, but I did test fit the adapter to make sure it works.

The only thing I don't like is there is a gap between the end of the steering shaft and the adapter. I designed a cover that fits over the shaft to hide this gap.

I have installed the new wheel in my cart and it is a big improvement. I took a couple of pictures to show the gap between the adapter and column and the little piece I made to cover it. I'd be happy to give anyone the STL if they wanted to print their own.

What wheel did you replace the OE with? How wide is it?

Nrg 320mm wheel. It is a little smaller than the stock one. It has a nice leather finish and feels good in your hands. The only thing I didn't like was the horn button. It fits loosely in the wheel and rattled. I printed a replacement filler plate that looks much better.

Nice looking wheel, but I was looking for larger wheel not smaller. With the extra length of my i40F it's fairly hard to turn around at slow speeds, especially for my wife.
