Default Changing Front Cowls??

I have a 97' TXT gas . My question is can I change just the front cowl ? Say to a ST/Workhorse? What parts are needed other than the plastic cowl itself? Also planning a lift kit will this matter? By the way I have a brand new light kit for TXT ,can I buy just the headlights for St/Workhorse cowl? Can they be ordered seperate and then just splice into light harness?

Yes you can bolt one on with no modifications. The only part you might need is a support bracket that mounts to the top of the frame and supports the nose of the ST cowl. You will also need the lower fender flares that are part of the ST cowl. As far as the lift it will you will have no problem with that. The headlights you can order and they should plug into the harness but I'm not 100% sure about that.

On the 97 you'll have to make plug ins for the ST lights, no big deal, just a few wire connectors from the auto parts store. I keep forgetting to install those cowl supports, it seems to work fine without them.

Are the supports any different than what is on the TXT presently? And are the side bottom fender plastic pieces costly? The black side bottom pieces. Also does the ST cowl attach to the roof support holes on the side of the TXT cowl?

The fender flares are pretty cheap from ezgo, I think they should be about $12 each. The roof support holes..... one is in the cowl and the other is in the fender flare. Its the same place on either the txt or the st, they use a common roof support.
