EZGO w/Lift Brake cable issue
Just finished getting my Jakes 5inch lift on my 03 EZGO TXT electric and have run into a brake cable issue. They really hang down, very low.. While the brakes still function, I am very worried they will get snagged on something when we take the kart off road. I am fairly sure that I can fix the driver side by replacing it with a passenger side cable as its longer.
However I still cant figure out how to get the passenger side longer. Anyone got any help on this? http://imgur.com/a/mVi9i Also linking to taterm6x's thread as he had run into pretty much the same issue.. While my brakes work, and the driver side fits, its way to short... and really hangs down.. Is this the correct part for the passenger side? Only place I can find that sells them separate --> http://www.performancegolfcars.com/E...NGER-SIDE.aspx I found one thread (and **** IE crashed on me) that said you could use an EZGO Workhorse brake cable set on a TXT that they were longer... anyone got any comments on that? Any help is appreciated. I cant tell you how smooth my Jakes install went just because of all the great info I've read here!!! Kolt601 |
