Lots of times these kind of problems are due to corroded connections and wires. Did it quit while you were using it?
I have to agree with corrosion could be the problem i was having problems with my 804 not charging. I had the starter generator checked at a shop it was good so i made sure i cleaned all connections when i put it back together and now it is working like it should.

Any chance you could post a closeup picture of your rear roof supports. I have the same style cart (Jacobsen 810) and want to put a roof on it. I have the roof & supports from a standard Marathon so I need to make something up for the rear supports. How does the bottom of the support mount to the cart?

I have a hard copy of the operators manual for the Jacobsen but don't know how to get it online

Question Re: Please tell me about my EZGO golf cart

the suports i found in a buddies barn he said are what it calls for but it's not so i had to mod. it. the front suports the holes line up with the one on the front sides but had to drill one hole on each side there. on the rear suporsts i drilled a hole on the back of the hand rails and used lock nits and it hold just fine. here are two pics whith the spots i drilled..

has anyone figured out how i can adjust the gov. on my cart plz i still need to figure this out thanks.

Its on the right side at the bottom
Best to take the skid plate out of the way so oil doesn't go into it.
Only take 3 bolts out of the skid plate. Loosen the 4th bolt & swing the plate out of the way. That way you don't have to hold the plate up to get the bolts started back in
