Default 2018 Cushman Hauler 1200

Bought it off an old farmer where I live here in Florida after his grandkids and friends went joyriding and drove it like they stole it...cause they did! l

Little things like this happened at first but I was bringing it to a local golf cart repair shop...they would do a great job and even did some restoring to it. recently I started doing some work myself to keep the cost down. However, with all the rain lately I have noticed that if I go through a big puddle or drive to long in the rain (basically driven hard and put up wet) I will hear what sounds like the reverse chime, but much more faint and after a while it stops I thought it was an alarm or something telling me its has water on something ..idk.

So the other day it happens and everything was normal until I started to install two 9" light bars. well just as I was finished splicing the first wire the other one hits my socket wrench and sparks are everywhere! The wire got fused on and took a good pull to break free..I would say 5-10 seconds of just loud zaps and what-not. Of course Im thinking the worst and clean up a bit and go to start it ...as soon as I turn the key to "on" I hear the fuel pump kick in. Thinking that is a good start, I press on the accelerator and nothing. No clicking, no motor turning over...just silence...I checked all the fuses but they are scattered everywhere. i fell like im missing a section where the fuses are being held hostage. heard ir could be a solenoid..I really dont know where to go from here...thank you

This is where a volt meter comes in handy.

Volts are at 12.8.

After some research, I also took the floor mat off and found the microswitch,,the box was full of water so I vacuumed it out and let it dry for 20 hours and now when I press down on the accelerator I can\n hear the clicking but still no fuel pump when I turn the key on

...im guessing a fuse or solenoid?? any help wouldf be greatly appreciated

next thing to day Im going to test the solenoid...any tips?

Near as I can tell your "Cushman" is an EZGO MPT1200 with a name tag transplant. Check out this old thread and the PDF file another member forwarded to me. It's not exactly your cart, but should help with some of the basics. For instance the wiring diagram of page L2.
