36 volt charger
Ok, let me try this another way. Any of you that have a 36 volt charger, I would like to know how many volts your charger is putting out when you first start charging your cart batteries, PLEASE.

Re: 36 volt charger
Thanks for your reply. I installed new batteries and when I charged them I was seeing 46.1 volt output at the charger. I was afraid it might damage my new batteries.

Re: 36 volt charger
I measured mine at 43 volts at the battery terminals while charger was delivering 15 amps.

Re: 36 volt charger
Voltage during charging is dictated by the batteries not the charger. The open circuit voltage is as high as the final charge can go to. (It will be a bit less than that.)

Re: 36 volt charger
Good stuff. I guess I wasn't expecting to see that much voltage on new batteries.
