1995 ezgo with that f/r switch,that I have never seen before

Just purchased 95 EZgo with good 21 batteries,was running,but not now,has different f/r switch,it's a Dcs ,doing some research,only used 95-96.Had issue with reverse,had to switch 3-4 times to make go in reverse,So I cleaned back of f/r with electrical cleaner,now no go ,only has 7.5 volts at key switch

There are 2 micro switches on the back of the fnr. One is run and closes on F and R. The other only closes on R. The run switch provides power to the key switch. Check those switches

My 95 Medalist has this f/r switch. I believe it was a one year thing. No micro switches. It is a DCS. I had a similar problem, turned out to be a bad contact on the 10 pin connector. There are also posts in the forum on how to wire in a double throw toggle switch to replace this one.

Yes, this is correct wiring to replace the handle DCS switch with a DPDT toggle.

Thats a standard 20a 22mm control panel switch which I am very familiar with... I would thing the contacts would be very short lived without a remote dual relay setup being controlled by it.
