Default 93 Plastic Body

Good Day,do You Need To Still Use Adhesion Promoter On A Body This Old? Getting Ready To Paint And I Don`t Want To Mess It Up.guess I Could Use It And Not Worry A About It.thanx,roger

Thanx Rib,i Read A Little On That But Thought I Seen Some Place Here If A Body Was Over 10 Yrs Old Most Of The Release Agents In The Plastic Were Gone.think I Will Buy Some Any Way To Make Sure.thanx Again Rib-roger

The release agents in the plastic are only a very small portion of why you use the adhesion promoter. What the adhesion promoter does is basically soften the plastic so the paint eats into it, you are definately correct with playing it safe and putting it on .Good luck and hope the paint job turns out great.
