Default PDS cart battery cable lengths FYI

Previously having installed 4 gauge cables on across my battery pack, I decided to replace three additional stock 6 gauge cables with 4 gauge over the weekend.

Since PDS carts already have two 4 gauge cables running from the controller and solenoid to the motor (don't need 4 gauge for the field connections), the only cables left to replace were the two that run from the pack to the controller/solenoid and one from the controller to the solenoid.

Having searched unsuccessfully for cable lengths before for my cart, I wanted to share what I found by measuring the stock 6 gauge cables I removed from my cart (2005 Ez-go PDS).

Pack negative to controller B-: 32"
Pack positive to solenoid: 28.25"
Controller A1 to solenoid: 9"

Hope this helps someone wanting to fabricate their own cables.

This helps alot. I am currently upgrading from 6g to 4g on my 2008 pds. As long as the batts are not hooked up does it matter what order that I trade them out, I just don't want to accidently smoke the controller?

Just make sure you flip your run/tow switch to tow before unhooking the batteries or doing any electrical work.
