Default 1996 EZGO TXT Electric Cables

Just changed out my battery cables from 6g to 4g. My question is: i did not change the cable for the F1/F2 that goes from the Controller to the motor. Should I up grade those to get more speed.

I have a '97 TXT DCS that I just upgraded with an Alltrax DCX400 and I used the stock F1/F2 (S1/S2)wires. I upgraded the A1 & A2 cables to 4g, but not the F1 & F2. They have a terminal connector on the controller side and I have not seen a terminal connector that will allow a 4g wire.

We're getting apples and oranges mixed up here.
Sepex motors have F1/F2 terminals and Series motors have S1/S2 terminals

The current flow in the SEParately EXcited field winding of a Sepex motor is relatively low and the stock gauge wiring is adequate.
Just make sure the connectors are clean and corrosion free.

In a Series motor, the same total current passing through the Armature (A1/A2) also passes through the Stator (S1/S2) so the cables must be the same gauge.

I went with 2Ga cables, but my F1/F2 cables are stock.
