Here's a 91 for $400 for instance.

That's great news that you found a match. Would it be possible to get a price on both and I can choose the best option?

I imagine I just need the internals but may need someone mechanically inclined to help me determine that.

Just an opinion here but do you think an amateur such as myself would be able to dtermine after opening the case what needs to be replaced? Or should I just buy the 'internals' which would theoreticaly have ANY potential part I need. I assume there is not too much involved inside the differential case. Apparently, the ring gear is what I need. I'm open to suggestions.

no shouldnt be hard @ all todo, i had mine open the other day, four bolts to hold axle in, and four bolts holding "ring" gear in.... will check on price of just internals as well as whole rear end, much cheaper to ship just gears, but if you need whole rearend, then well see on that as well!!! hope this will help you out!!! kenneth

How much would it cost for shipping for the entire rear end? rough estimate.

Are you saying the other opti0on is to pay $300 for the rear end and you will just send the internals for cheaper shipping? Do I need to pay you for stripping it?
