Default 295cc stuck oil passage plug

After apparently starving my engine for oil and seizing a rod bearing, I was trying to install an oil pressure switch. (My EZ does not have a switch or a gage.) There appears to be a choice of two passages from the oil pump discharge. One on top of the oil pump just before going up to the camshaft feed, the other more on the front. Both are drilled passages with the same size allen head pipe plug (1/8" NPT?)

HOW IN CREATION DO YOU GET THESE THINGS OUT??? ARE THEY EPOXIED IN???!!?!

I really don't want to drill them out, but now is the time, before the motor is assembled so I can control chips. I tried some heat, but I don't want to break or warp the crankcase cover.

Heat!! I applied PB penetrating oil 3 or 4 times over a couple days, then heat. Propane was insufficient, but MAAP gas was just intense enough. Enough heat and enough PB, and they came out with almost no force. Small concentrated intense flame right on the plug.

Now I just need to figure out the thread size to fit the gage sending unit.

It turned out to be 1/8th inch British Standard Pipe Taper (BSPT). I found the fittings at a hydraulic hose supply store.
