Default Wiring for LED Volt Gauge for Club CR

I bought a LED gage for my club car and need information as to how and where to run the wires from the batteries to my dashboard where I mounted the gage. How is this done? I cannot get on the ground to get under the cart. I already connected the 16-gauge wires to the batteries, but don't know how to run the wires to the front without getting under the cart. Thanks for your help if you can give me some advice. - twig

If you plan on mounting the gauge in the dash then you have no choice but to run them under the cart. If you are physically unable to get on the ground and run the wires then I suggest that you find someone that can. The only other option is to mount the gauge somewhere near your F/R switch. If you do that, then I would mount it upside down so you can read it from your seat.

Good luck.

To read the voltage can you just tap into your switch and ground off your harness or find a 48V hot if you have one there already. I mean your drawing hardly nothing your just sampling voltage right? I don't think you have to go direct for this meter to be accurate you just need to have access to the full 48 volts right?

I just installed a voltmeter on my '92 DS and ran my wires into the factory wire holders down the frame. My meter is mounted in the plastic next to the key switch. I did a direct battery hookup.
