If You have access to a hand held programmer You can monitor RPMs and throttle signal to see if there is a problem.

Does the walk-away brake engage when you push the cart by hand?

I think so, it will start to beep if being pushed, when it engages, will it just slow it down or stop it? I also noticed if I push the gas pedal really really slow it will start to gain a lot more speed when it was up on the jack, but if I just floor it, it will stay at a slow speed. 2 or 3x’s more when I barely move the gas pedal. I just ordered a new solenoid and throttle sensor last night too, maybe that will fix the problem.

I had a guy plug his hand held into the controller, said code 2-5 & 4-4 were coming back on the hand held. Said it was pretty much the same thing, I don’t know if he messed with the settings or not. I didn’t see 4-4 on my end through the controller, just the 2-5. Once I hooked up the walkaway. It doesn’t flash any fault codes anymore but still in limp mode.

He did say he turned up the reverse speed to 8mph and now when I hit the gas pedal in reverse, the wheels will do this weird like studder

I also noticed when I was going down the drive way, I think the walkaway kicked in and started to do like a weird braking thing.

Do you guys have a list or link I can go to see what I should program the controller to when I get my hand held on Wednesday?

Got it working, after the walkaway was installed, I plugged in my hand held and it was the tacho poles, it was set to 8, I set it to 20 and boom!

That must be a typo, if your motor has a 8-poles magnet and the controller was set for 4-poles then it would run at half speed.

I dunno, I tried both and it gave me this crazy jolt where the wheels would spin for 1 second and a stop, I was just messed with the setting to see and 20 is the only one it works on without sounding or feeling like it’s gonna blow up. What else could be wrong?

One thing that comes to mind is your "RPM to Speed" and "M1/M2 FWD speed" settings.

Setting the "Tacho Poles" to 20 means the controller thinks your motor (8-poles) is running 2.5 times slower than reality so it may counter affect those other settings if they are wrong.

Check all of those settings.

It is running slower for sure. Do you have anyway of finding out where I can get the stock settings for the 1268-5411?
