250 amp fuse between battery and controller
Where do you find these fuses? Mobile audio places? I know I can order one, but where would one look locally? Thanks

Off hand, I don't know of anything else that uses this particular type fuse. |

I tried home depot, lowes, and radio shack, finally went to the local cart shop and got one there.
Oh by the way got my 505B kit from Scottyb today and it's installed another real happy customer thanks Scotty. Did a short run and it hit 18mph will check in the morning after a full charge |

I tried a golf cart dealer....they said they would need to order a 250 amp fuse and that they normally came with Alltrax controllers so they didn't usually keep them on hand. Called another golf cart shop....parts guy told me that the only fuse coming off the battery was a 50 amp and he had never seen a 250 amp. Looked at an auto parts store and they had something that looked like it might work except it was for 32 volts, would that work on a 36 volt system?

yes stereo shops carry them as well. its called an ANL fuse

while i was on fleEBay i saw some listed as stereo fuses .. Mikey is correct check local stereo shops
