Default 98 txt MISSING something?

I just got a 1998 basket case. I'm starting from scratch but something doesn't look right . The seat area underneath . Is there supposed to be a frame that goes from the front around the sides to the back to support the upper part of the body and seat?. I have the front and back is main frame but it seems like there should be something else to support the sides.

look at the top of the ez-go gas forum for "gas tech" go to the gold stars and follow the link to bennetts. you can download either a medalist or txt parts manual there and it show you all you need.

A TXT does not have the support you are speaking of, while a Medalist does have it. The TXT bodywork supports the seat on it's own in combination wither the framework under the front edge.

While true, not entirely correct, Early TXTs had the frame. My 95 and 96 had the frame. My 96 that I am rebuilding has it.
