Bad speed sensor, maybe?
Can a bad speed sensor cause jumpy/shaking starts?

I have a 2009 Titan. It does have a speed sensor.

Re: Bad speed sensor, maybe?
Unless its an AC driven system; typically, no, it wont cause issues like this. What controller model is in the vehicle? Depending on the type there may be some tests you could do to determine this. However the typical reaction to a bad tach is an initial normal speed operation for maybe a few feet before it slows to reduced speed.
Jumpy take offs may be some issue with the throttle, dead spots in the lower ranges or calibration issues. |

Re: Bad speed sensor, maybe?
I have 2 Curtis 1244 controllers. I busted my knee so it will be a while before I can start work on it again. Thanks for the help. I will start testing the throttle next.
