1996 ezgo brushes
What is the part number for brush kit for 1996 ezgo DCS,I have seen some post on here,but I am confused,I do not know if GE motor or advance motor,

What are the part numbers printed on the label?
That is the information needed to identify which brushes are needed. Also, motor manufacturers don't fabricate the brushes they put in the motors the build, they use off the shelf parts, so if you take your motor to your local electric motor repair shop, they'll probably have a set of brushes for it sitting on their shelf, or know where to get them. If the motor has enough run time on it to wear out the brushes, it needs a thorough cleaning also, and a new bearing probably would be a good idea. |
