Default Speed control moving contacts treatment?

I have a Vintage Cushman three wheel golf cart with the moving contact speed control. I am replacing the burned contacts and coil resistors with new. Should I use any treatment on the moving and fixed copper contacts? Conductive grease, graphite, DeOxit?
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Thanks Golf Cart Guy,
Vaseline sounds good, but it's low melting point (probably 90 degrees F) makes me wonder if it's the best solution. I expect the flowing current and heat from the power resistors to warm the copper conducting plates somewhat above that. I think I need something with a higher melting temp. Vaseline makes good sense for corrosion prevention though. I'm more concerned about helping the moveable contact slide smoothy and easily across the fixed copper plates. I understand that the plates must be aligned flat to each other.

Nailed it. I wouldn't think using anything conducive would be a good idea...

I've read the dieletric grease will stop the current. Do this work well?

It sure does. Unless I read it wrong the OP was trying to smooth out some moving parts. If using conductive grease like carbon conductive grease, you have the potential to electricly bridge a gap with grease. I wouldn't think that's a good thing in any type of a control box, but I could be wrong.
